“Serebryany Bor” Settlement
The settlement "Serebryany Bor"(lit. Silver Pinewood) is located in the village of Ustinka, 45 km from the city of Belgorod and 4 km from the Russian-Ukrainian border. Our settlement is situated on the hill, which offers scenic view on all four sides of the world. The village bordered with a lovely lake Lozovoe.
The settlement is located on former agricultural land with an area of 76 hectares. Land is divided into 55 plots of 1 ha. There are 2 wide streets: Kedrovaya and Blagodatnaya. There is total clearing (2 adjacent plots) with a total area of 3.2 ha.
Land is derived from "agricultural land" and transferred to "settlement land", executed the long-term lease for a period of 25 years (Decree of the Head of Administration of Belgorod region No. 47, 29.01.2007).
The road was repaired from the village of Ustinka to the settlement. There are 2 springs; along one of the boundaries of the settlement was planted tree alley.
In our homesteads we plant, in all was planted more than 14 thousand plants. We are restoring the land after years of ploughing. We began to build the houses.
To date, the village has 17 "roof": 7 log cabins, 3 adobe houses, 6 small guest houses, under construction house according to "foxhole" plan, prepared for construction in the upcoming season 9 of foundations. In winter in the settlement lives one family.
On the 29th of July, 2009 were registered TPS (territorial public self-government) Ustinka.
In the settlement is planned to build a Children's centre and to invite teachers from Schetinin school.
Our land and all the space gradually revive: every year more and more birds, animals appear alongside us. Wheat-grass gives strength to his land, loose and fertilizes roots. Each season is changing miraculous "flower garden" along the road, the life-giving water from open springs seeks to quench the thirst of everyone passing nearby. People are waking up.
Our motto is: "to improve the environment, start with yourself".
