Kaluga Region, Mosalsky District, near the village of Zaharino.
Strelenki Family Homestead Settlement situated in a unique location on the border of the Northern forests and the southern plains. Distance from Moscow – 220 km, from Kaluga – 120 km, from Mosalsk regional centre – 30 km.
The territory of the settlement is relief, surrounded by forests in which there are a lot of mushrooms and berries; the difference in elevation is 10 m. Near flows the pure river Popolta, there are several large mining ponds within walking distance.
Total area of settlement is 129 hectares:
- Land area – 100 hectares;
- Public territory – 6.5 hectares;
- Land for public use – 6.6 hectares;
The total number of plots - 50. 13 sites found their owners, 7 families reside permanently. There are free sites on the field and in the forest area. There are rules of the settlement.
There are different celebrations and events in our settlement. The most important holiday is Summer Solstice. Together with our guests we organize festivities with games, songs, dances. We also have own holidays: Colour Day and Feast of Zucchini.
The nearest school is 5 km away. It is planned to create school in the settlement. There is a teacher of music. Wushu classes and Yoga for everyone are regularly held.
There are springs in our settlement. There is transmission line on the territory.
There is a temporary wiring to homes.
The phone link is stable; it is possible to connect 3G Internet.
